Wisconsin Offers 2025 In-State Forward LaTrevion Fenderson
Greg Gard offered a scholarship to 2025 forward LaTrevion Fenderson after their advanced camp.
Greg Gard and the Wisconsin basketball program held their annual advanced camp this past week, as they normally do. However, one surprise scholarship offer to an in-state product came after a reportedly strong performance in front of the Badgers coaching staff.
That offer went to 2025 small forward LaTrevion Fenderson (cousin of Kamari McGee), who plays for The Prairie School in Racine, Wisconsin.
As a sophomore, the 6-foot-4, 205-pound forward averaged 17.1 points and nearly 11 rebounds per game. Word on the street is that Fenderson intends to reclassify to the 2026 class, which would likely vault him into the discussion for the No. 1 player in the state -- so while this offer comes unexpectedly, the Badgers coaching staff is playing the long game.
As it stands, Wisconsin is Fenderson's only scholarship offer. Still, given his impressive athletic/physical tools, plenty of scholarship offers will come in now that Coach Gard has given him the Power 5 stamp of approval.
