Wisconsin Badgers Land Commitment From 3-Star OLB Thomas Heiberger
Wisconsin added three-star outside linebacker Thomas Heiberger out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to their 2024 recruiting class.
Madison, Wis. - Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin football program added a defensive player to their talented 2024 recruiting class on Easter Sunday.
After picking up an offer in January and taking his third unofficial visit to Madison during spring practice, three-star linebacker Thomas Heiberger announced his commitment to the Badgers.
"They've got a plan for Wisconsin football," Heiberger said on The Camp. "They're going to be competing for Big Ten championships. I truly believe that. That's why I wanted to be a part of it."
According to the 247Sports composite, Heiberger is the No. 656 player in the 2024 recruiting class, the No. 60 LB in the country, and the No. 2 player in South Dakota.
The Sioux Falls native chose UW over offers from Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Purdue, Stanford, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Washington, and Utah.
As a junior, the 6-foot-4, 210-pound linebacker registered 44 tackles, 10 TFLs, six sacks, and one interception.
